Two more days until we move.
Amy and I were sitting on our beds (or rather, our mattresses on the floor) last night doing devos before bed and we were talking about moving and we realized that we only had three more nights left sleeping in this house, in our room. Ahhhh!! Talk about scary. But oh so exciting at the same time.
Actually, I'm sad. I didn't think it would affect me this much to move, but I think I'm really going to miss this house. I mean, after living here for 11 years, it is all I've known for over half of my life!
And two more days until I write my music history exam and get it over with! Two more days of intense studying and then I can put my books, papers, and study notes away forever!!
Until next year when I start the next history course.
But I'm not going to think about that right now. That's too depressing.
AND . . .
only 5 more days until I start working at my summer job in the great outdoors (and greenhouses) of the awesome tree nursery! Yeeeessssss!!!!!!!

I remember the last nights of sleeping in our old house, and the house before that. Allthough I was more exited to be going than sad.
Do think your going to like your new house better, or not?
Hey! I know what you meant about moving..I think part of you is in the house you live in and you can't take it with you. too many memories. I found just switching rooms in my house took awhile to really LIKE because I didn't feel like me in it. It was really unsettling. Like I couldn't find a place that wasn't distractingly unfamiliar. But...I know for sure it won't take long for you to feel at home in the new house, think of the next 11 years. God Bless!! By the way, did you have a wonderful birthday? I had a note that said " Card Carol-Lee" but yeah....siigh. talk to you soon.
Tamara: I had a great birthday. Thanks! And you're right, we'll get used to it soon enough. I think it will help once we unpack some stuff and put some pictures on the wall.
Karen: There are a few things I like about the new house better, like a music room, a bigger bedroom with a window in it, a bigger property, closer to dad's work. So I'm definately looking forward to it, but it will just take some adjustment.
So Carol-Lee...was the computer one of the first things you set up at your new house? >:) lol
actually, I just had to pull out my laptop, pop in the phone line in my room, and get on line. Pretty awesome. And I waited until Sunday when I was relaxing okay?! lol I wasn't that desperate for email! lol
