2 Corinthians 12:9-10:
'But he said to me,
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power
is made perfect in weakness." Therefore
I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,
so that Christ's power may rest on me.
That is why, for Christ's sake,
I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardshps,
in persecutions, in dfficulties.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.'

that verse is incredible, it's highlighted in my bible, and written on the wall beside my bed, so i can fall asleep reading it.
It's unfortunate that some use this verse to justify actively seeking to be persecuted in some way, to the point of finger-pointing and conspiracy theory.. especially around this time of year.
